Brandon

SAT/ACT Private and Group Class Coach
Specialties: SAT/ACT: Reading, Writing; Math, Science.

Brandon was born and raised in Charlotte, NC and graduated with his B.A. in Sociology & Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. After college, he moved down south and joined AmeriCorps serving in South Florida as a Graduation Coach for Palm Beach County School District, where he guided seniors to and through graduation. Soon after, as Director of College Retention, he piloted a college retention program at Stock in Children Palm Beach where he assisted students in matriculating through college and earning a degree. Over the years, Brandon has gained a strong passion for teaching and coaching students and helping them reach success. He felt that PrepNorthwest was the perfect organization to continue his passion and his chance to experience the west coast for a change! Brandon loves being active, traveling, hiking, listening to music, playing board games & video games, as well as trying different foods and coffee.

Brady

SAT/ACT Private Coach
Specialties: SAT/ACT: Reading, Writing; Math, Science; Academic: Math.

Brady grew up in Sammamish and graduated from Eastlake high school. He has a Bachelor's of Arts in Economics from the Univeristy of Washington. Brady discovered his passion for teaching towards the end of his time at UW and is currently enrolled as a student at Seattle Pacific University in their M.A. in Teaching program. Brady loves running, playing soccer, watching bad, low budget movies, and is an avid reader.

Celina

SAT/ACT Private Coach
Specialties: SAT/ACT: Reading, Writing; Math, Science; Academic: Biology.

Celina grew up in Kirkland, Washington and attended Syracuse University in New York where she received a Bachelor's of Science in Public Policy and in Earth Science. From 2015 to early 2017, she took her commitment for high school students and worked for Teach for America in Clarksdale, Mississippi. There, she taught Algebra, Geometry, Biology, and Human Anatomy. When Celina is not coaching at PrepNorthwest, she enjoys training for half-marathons, watching reruns of Psych, and drinking coffee.

Daniel C.

SAT/ACT Private and Group Class Coach
Specialties: SAT/ACT: Group Class Coach, Reading, Writing, Math, Science.

Daniel was born in Eugene, Oregon and grew up in Sammamish, Washington. He graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physiology. After graduation, Daniel worked as a forum moderator and eventually a game release tester with an indie game company, Artix Entertainment. He then utilized his love of writing guides and his passion for helping people and created his own website to publish reviews and discuss video games and technology with the public. Outside of work and volunteering, Daniel loves to play games, read fantasy novels, go disc golfing, and hike the beautiful Pacific Northwest.

Molly

SAT/ACT Group Class Coach
Specialties: SAT/ACT: Reading, Writing; Math, Science.

Molly earned a B.A. in Psychology from the College of Wooster where she ran cross-county and track. As a National Qualifier and Academic All-American, Molly was convinced she would be a Coach. After spending two years working with City Year (an AmeriCorps program) Molly realized that teaching is coaching. With this in mind, she combined her love of pedagogy and passion for business, and in 1999, became the Director of Score! Prep, an in-home test-prep business for high school students. There, she managed markets in Seattle and Portland before moving to Chicago to manage markets all across the Midwest. After a successful 2 years in the Windy City, Molly returned to Seattle, met business partner Terry Lin, and in 2004, co-founded PrepNorthwest. In her spare time, Molly enjoys running, mixing music, eating brownie edges and solving puzzles.

Qanani

Proctor
Specialties: Proctoring

Qanani calls Portland, OR and Galamso, Ethiopia, where she was born and raised, home. Qanani earned a B.S in Psychology from Portland State University and recently a Masters in Higher Education from the University of Washington. She is passionate about education and youth empowerment. She has worked with K-12 students as a tutor and a mentor for over three years and has always had a passion to motivate and empower young people to strive and succeed. During grad school, Qanani worked as a Graduate Student Assistant in UW's Pipeline Project, which matches UW undergrads with tutoring and leadership opportunities in high needs Seattle-area schools and as a Transfer Adviser at South Seattle College. She is currently an Academic Adviser at the University of Washington. Outside of work, Qanani enjoys exploring nature, cooking and spending time with friends and family.

Terry

SAT/ACT Group Class and Private Academic Coach
Specialties: SAT/ACT: Math, Science; Academic: Math.

Terry earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Washington during which time he was awarded "Tutor of the Year" from the UW WISE for his outstanding success teaching young adults at all levels of math, chemistry and engineering courses. After getting his degree, he worked as a fuel cell research scientist and a chemical salesperson for over 2 years. Soon thereafter, Terry devoted all of his time back into his love and passion... teaching high school students. In Terry's spare time, he enjoys building things out of wood, website design, programming computers and inventing cool gadgets. As you might encounter on this website, Terry is the inventor of his patented calculator slide case, the EZ Graphing slide case, a calculator cover that drastically cuts homework time and eliminates the need for pricey graphing paper.
